Role and responsibilties:

1. Raw material planning
a) Timely conversion of Purchase Requisitions (PR) to Purchase Orders (PO).
b) Pro-actively address and solve exception messages and supply issues with suppliers and logistic service providers.
c) Communicate and/or escalate any issues or delays with internal departments such as Production Planning, Warehousing and Quality department.
d) Provide Global Purchasing with performance data as input to supplier performance management as well as contracts.
e) Create purchase orders for affiliates based on their requirements for materials in planner’s scope (supply chain planning).
f) Daily follow up of New Product Introduction tool (NPI)
g) Provide RFI information to Global Procurement

2. Manage planning parameters and material master data
a) Collaborate with Master Planner ASAPC region to continuously revise and optimize master data and plan settings / processes, within the limits of the contractual agreements. Includes participation in supply-chain planning related projects.

Routine daily activities
1. Reviewing exception messages in SAP(MD06) and taking necessary actions
2. Placing orders and monitoring status (overdue / non-confirmed / pre shipment)
3. Communicate and follow up with planning about shortages affecting production orders
4. Manage complaints with vendor
5. Analyze and clear blocked invoices

Requirements:
? Bachelor degree in logistics, supply management, operations management, or related field.
? 3-5 years operational planning or related experience.
? Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to multi-task and orientation toward customer service with a high degree of flexibility.
? Exceptional organization, coordinating, and planning skills are required.
? Attention to detail, complete understanding of SAP and IFF business practices as they relate to the planning, scheduling and production functions.
