Our client is a leading global education provider that is preparing for strong growth in China.

Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager, they are seeking an experienced international education professional with experience of representing Canadian Institutions.

The overall objectives of the position are to support the development of Agent Network and implement the marketing plan for the region.

Strong communication skills are required for this role, as well as sales and marketing experience.

Key Activities:

• Meet demanding sales targets for individual institution and overall targets.
• Frequent travel to visit agents to provide training and support, and also attend workshops and events to promote the institution.
• High profile role through regular presentations to partners.
• Assist with annual marketing plan and prepare promotional materials.
• Assist with new market, product and service development that is highly valued by this dynamic education group.

Qualifications:

• Strong written and oral capability in Mandarin & English language
• Possession of a tertiary degree level qualification and/or 1-2 years of marketing experience
• Demonstrate high level interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills inclusive of presentation skills
• Demonstrated and proven ability as a team player
• Demonstrated flexible attitude to work (e.g. in hours and content), including a willingness to work weekendsand evenings in support of recruitment activities both locally and internationally
• Demonstrated ability to initiate and implement effective sales tactics which have made a significant contributionto sustainable business growth
• Demonstrated innovative thinking and proactive work habits inclusive of an eye for detail and for newrecruitment initiatives
• Demonstrated ability to work to tight deadlines, changing priorities and to take responsibility for decisions andoutcomes
• Demonstrated ability to work with a range of internal and external stakeholders to ensure competing demandsare met

Desirable

• International work experience in the education / language sector
• Overseas study experience in Canada
