职位描述（Job Descriptions）
Responsibililties:

· Manage and lead the product and process engineering section. Leverage engineer resource to maintain NPI (New product introduction) & LCM (Lifecycle management) projects delivers successfully in quality, cost, time and manufacturability.
· Prepare and appraise the product engineers’ PPM, JD, IDP and provide coaching where necessary.
· Directly involve or coach product engineers to perform as technical leader. Help to streamline communication channel for product engineer with CoCs and internal stakeholders to ensure NPI/LCM project running smoothly, process concept and facilitate and to monitor all technical review activities to be well conducted to achieve optimal risk management on product / process feasibility on both manufacturability and assemble feasibility.
· Be responsible to keep competence at Engineering Dept and coach product engineer as technical leader. The competence are complied but not limited to as below listed:
- Development process (IPD, Change process, Doc control)
- System knowledge (FDA & ISO system, Lean production, 6 Sigma, SAP & PDM system)
- Technical knowledge (Appliance construction, Tolerance analysis, BOM, Drawings, Tooling & Molding, Material awareness)
- Methodology knowledge (FMEA, DFA, DFM, Risk management…,Statistic principle and tools, Quality tools such as SPC, MSA, GR&R)
· Directly involve or support product engineer to work with purchasing & QA on suppliers’ quality and competence improvement. Participate in new supplier audit and technical related assessment.
· Directly involve or support product engineer to take lead on certain business & process improvement activities.
· Take lead at new business analysis on technical feasibility, cost, project lead time and manufacturability; Facilitate the field innovation if required.
· Be responsible to participate in Engineering Dept daily management, major at below listed:
- Work loading management
- People competence management
- ENG controlled process and WOW management
- Employee engagement survey
- Training & people development
- Hiring
- Com cell board update
- 6S and factory Simply Philips management
- External & internal audit support

Requirements:
· Academic
University or Polytechnic graduate in an Engineering field
· Work experience
Minimum 6 years experience of product engineering or development; Diploma holder must have 10 years of related experience. Of which 3 years are in a position with subordinates.
Good knowledge of mechanical designs, analytical skill
Good knowledge of process (industrial engineering) and lean production
Good knowledge of statistic or 6 sigma

· Language ability
Good spoken and written English and Chinese

· Computer ability
Knowledge in Microsoft software application

· Others
Good communication and co-ordination ability
Able to lead and coach
Good team player
Awareness of different cultures
