General Purpose:
Manages the staffing/employment function and activities. Ensures that staffing needs are met in accordance with governmental requirements. Develops and implements recruiting plans to staff open requisitions while minimizing cost per hire. Develops and administers employee referral programs. Ensures consistent corporate image throughout recruiting campaigns. May serve as or oversee website content expert for Staffing & Recruitment. May maintain manpower planning system and provide guidance to management on employment matters and/or affirmative action plans, as applicable. Submits reports concerning hiring trends, turnover rates, candidate feedback, etc. to Human Resources staff and/or senior management, as appropriate. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.

Principle Accountabilities: Duties performed in this role vary depending on the business unit, location or product being manufactured. Following is a list of possible duties:

? Sourcing and candidate´s management.

Requirements:
- 7+ years of professional management experience, specialized in talent acquisition. Manufacturing exposure is highly desirable. Bachelor´s degree is mandatory.
- Sourcing channels, demographic trends, staffing strategies, negotiation skills, project management. Decision making, business acumen.
- Impacts the medium-term (semi-annual/annual) direction and operational success of the HR function. Helps to create functional processes and technologies. Executes and provides input to the functional HR strategic plans and objectives for the site and/or corporation. Demonstrates experience in leading major initiatives and provides input to those initiatives.
- Exercises independent judgment, where decisions and resolution of problems involve a number of possible alternatives which may not be defined. Provides input for the HR function to facilitate the decision making process. Decisions may affect site.
- Normally receives no instruction. May lead projects or teams. Demonstrates skills in teaching, leading and mentoring. Models appropriate behavior in support of Flextronics values.
