Primary Job Responsibilities

1. Contact customers requesting their AML policies and procedures, applicable federal or state licenses, registrations, and financial documents as needed and review documentation to ensure industry adherence and potential risk.

2. Exceed productivity and quality standards.

3. Maintain and promote a positive attitude while working with customers, colleagues and managers.

4. Assist the manager with ensuring PayPal is in compliance with applicable state and federal laws and regulations

5. Assist in the development and implementation of the compliance manuals and procedures as it relates to high risk business categories

6. Identifying accounts where a SAR is required, and follow through on reporting

7. Processing Due Diligence queue items and compliance related escalations in a timely manner

8. Maintain a working knowledge of all laws and regulations related to the job.

9. Communicate with customers, verbally and written, in a professional manner.

10. Assist management and the manager with the implementation of procedures that address newly enacted regulations or procedural modifications resulting from changes in regulations.

Job Requirement:

1. 2+ years relevant experience including 1 years experience dealing with financial transactions in an industry that is classified as high risk for money laundering and/or terrorist finance.

2. 1 year of experience in a compliance department with a financial institution preferred

3. Experience in an Internet company, financial institution or transaction processor preferred

Basic Qualification:

1.Good skill in using Microsoft Office products including: Excel, Word, Access, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

2. Exceptional Communication skills and experience (E-mail & Phone) in English and Japanese.
