Overview
The Shanghai Disney Resort is (SHDR) a Cooperative Joint Venture between WD Holdings (Shanghai), a subsidiary of Disney Enterprises, Inc., and Shanghai Shendi Group Co., Ltd., a state-owned joint venture investment holding company. It comprises of a Management Company, which will supervise the construction and operation of the Resort, and two Owner Companies. The Resort, located in Pudong, Shanghai, is targeted to open in late 2015 and will consist of a "Magic Kingdom"- style theme park, which will be owned by one Owner Company; and 2 resort hotels and a retail, dining, and entertainment district, which will be owned by the other Owner Company. The joint ventures were incorporated in April 2011, and we are now in the early stages of hiring our Resort's future leaders to help set up the operation for a successful opening.
Department Overview
The Shanghai Disney Resort Finance team is a small, growing group of professionals, responsible for financial management for the overall Resort project and includes such functions as Tax, Controllership, Business Planning, and Treasury.

We are seeking candidates with accomplished professional experience, curiosity and desire to learn and grow, demonstrated analytical skills and outstanding academic records to fill the position of Treasury Assistant.
Responsibilities
- Work with Preferred Travel Agency to ensure SHDR Travel policy is fully understood and under correct execution
- Audit the monthly actual travel report submitted by Preferred Travel Agency regularly to ensure proper authorization Monitor and respond to routine T&E inquiries by employees
- Ensure Travel Authorizations are being filled out timely and accurately
- Check employee expense claims are in compliance with SHDR T&E policy
- Conduct the travel policy, tools, and process training to new hires.
- Work with Cashier to make payment to employee on time per company schedule and for pre-approval expenses
- Communicate and follow up on controversy items until resolve
- Manage SAP T&E module implementation and work to resolve any issues on ongoing basis
- File the expense reports and supporting documentation
- Manage employee corporate credit card including card application, credit limit request processing
- Support internal / external audits
- Maintain and develop good working relationship with internal & external business partners, streamline processes and make suggestions to improve efficiency whenever necessary
- Provide support to ad hoc projects, and also to the team to fulfill team tasks
- Play back-up roll to Cashier job
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree , major in accounting or finance
- Minimum 1-2 years of relevant professional work experience in treasury, accounting, or Finance Shared Service
- Detail oriented, self-motivated
- Strong organizational, analytical and problem solving skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a project team-oriented environment in a complex and diverse business unit of a multi-national company
- Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel
- Fluent in spoken and written Chinese and English
- Flexible to take on other financial task
Optional Qualifications
- Experience with SAP system Familiarity with PRC GAAP and tax laws
