Main responsibility:
The Production Manager position plays a key role in the Technical team. As Production Manager you are responsible for both the production and the after sales service. This responsibility includes both technical-, commercial- and management related matters.
Detailed job description:
Production of existing products:
- Responsible for ensuring that BSAB has the right production partners from a technical- and commercial- and ethical perspective.
- Responsible for the handling of all production related issues which includes support the production partners with technical instructions, documentation and approvals needed.
- Responsible for maintaining, updating and communicating instructions and specifications for the production
- Responsible for ensuring that production orders are produced according to the production specification.
- Responsible for the structure and system for quality inspections of production releases.
- Responsible for approving factory inspection reports and production releases.
- Responsible for incoming inspections when products arrives Bellman & Symfon’s warehouses.
- Responsible for maintaining and improving the product quality and that feedback and suggestions for improvements are reported.
- Responsible for product modifications etc.
Product maintenance:
- Responsible for handling “second source” and “end of life” issues.
- Responsible for supporting the purchasing team with technical expertise in negotiations and continuously securing product cost efficiency.
- Responsible for ensuring that decided engineering change requests are implemented according to the decisions made.
After sales service (technical and advisory):
- Responsible for the management of the Service department which is responsible for both technical repairs, modifications and for giving technical advice on products to customers and internally.
- Responsible for following up on warranty- and service statistics for product improvement reasons.
Supporting R&D team:
- Supporting R&D team in the manufacturing of prototypes and in the pre-production of new products.
- Participate in development of new products.

- Required education: Master of Science in Electric Engineering (M. Sc. E.E) or similar.
Working experience:
- Mandatory experiences:
o 5+ years of experience from working as an production manager and/or engineer, including:
？ Production of consumer electronics or medical devices with embedded software (final assembly, SMT process, ICT, plastic injection, production tests)
？ Experience from production in Mainland China.
？ Production documentation and administration.
- Preferred experiences:
o Experience of mechanical design or plastic tooling design.
o Experience of hardware and/or software development.
o Service of electronic products.
o Logistics.
o Interest and experience from audio.
o Assignment in a private company of small or medium size.
