Main responsibility:

Located in Guangzhou, the Hardware Engineer/Senior Hardware Engineer will co-work with the Project Manager, Production Manager and Software Team and be responsible but not limited to
- Product development (Hardware) : Hearing Solution and Alert System Products
- The full hardware design cycle from finalizing product specification, circuit design to following up design problem in production and after sales.
- Testing and preparing technical data and product info to marketing team for writing product sales document and packing design.
- Design updates, new features implementation and performance improvement.
- Technical pre-studies of future products\solutions
- Follow up Industry Certificate Test and Approval.

Candidate with stronger experience will be considered as Senior Hardware Engineer.

Detailed job description:

New Product development projects:
- Responsible for delivery of hardware designs. That involves mainly following tasks:
o Develop, test and document
o Test and validation
o Industrialization (currently mainly in China) including test procedures, production documentation etc.
o Documentation of development deliverables and production documents.

New Products:
- Participate in discussions around new products and product specifications.
- Supporting the Chief Technical Officer (CTO) in conducting technical pre-studies.
- Supporting the CTO in identifying methods, hardware solutions and design tools supporting BSAB in our commitment to improve R&D efficiency, product quality, cost competiveness.

Product development efficiency:
- Maintain and further improve systems and procedures for BOM cost surveillance and potential cost ratios.


Profile searched for:

Education:

- Bachelor Degree in Electronics\Electrical Engineering or relevant.

Working experience:

- 3+ or 7+ (Senior Hardware Engineer ) years of experience in hardware circuit design
- Experience in one or more of the areas below will be a BIG advantage
o Designing products with RF circuit and\or Short Range Devices (SRD) band.
o Product design for consumer electronics, medical devices and\or Alerting System.
o Design products with TI DSP (e.g. MSP430), Microchip and\or other DSP\MCU.
o Good sound quality Audio products design.
- Experience in using Altium, Cadence OrCAD (capture and PCB-editor);
- Experience in working in complete product project team (including mechanical, software, artwork etc.) and can work together with individual team members will be a plus (especially for Senior Hardware Engineer).
- Experience Mechanical verification and environmental test\Certificate of electronics;
- Experience in embedded software programming (C\Assembly) will be a plus
- Experience in Product Development or Product Life Cycle Management Tools will be a plus
