The Security& Licensing Analyst is responsible for the processes and procedures needed for SAP application security.
This role will provide for global direction, consultation, monitoring and maintenance for SAP security in alignment with the IT security policies and procedures for
Mars IT to ensure the integrity and security of the organization’s information contained in and transferred into and out of the SAP application.
This role will also be responsible for the application auditing and the identification and reporting of segregation of duty violations.
1. Main accountabilities
? Perform security-related activity for the SAP R/3 including maintenance of special ids as required.
? Serves as tier 2 / tier 3 SAP security analyst for the globe providing direction and functional / technical assistance to business functional experts.
? Performs role based security activities, including creating, changing, deleting, assigning and testing roles (template, derived and composite).
? Subject Matter Expert for segregation of duty design and analysis.
?Trains functional experts in security operations and procedures; trains other IT staff in security processes and problem solving and as appropriate, updates training material.
? Follow established security-monitoring processes of day-to-day networking and management tasks to ensure the Company’s information security policies and technical solutions are maintained at acceptable levels.
? Follow a routine of security audits of systems based on industry standards, and participate in providing recommendations for corrective actions based on findings.
?Performs special projects at the request of the Global Security Architect or the Global Security Manager or other members of IT management.
? Provides support for needed security initiatives within global and unit discretionary projects.
? Maintain the segregations of duty rule set and tool set.
? Own and maintain the common security process and documentation.
2. Requirements
? 5+ years’ experience in SAP security area
? Working knowledge of ERP identity and access management solutions.
? Working knowledge of IT related security concepts, internal controls, policies and quality assurance performance measurements.
? A good understanding of the risk and internal controls concepts, as well as proven experiences with SoD concepts and implementation.
? A degree in business, finance or computer science or equivalent is required
? Ability to work effectively in a flexible and changing environment, manage multiple activities and priorities, and work well under pressure.
? Demonstrated ability to learn new technical skills quickly, and to apply this learning.
? Ability to evaluate, analyze and solve complex problems - strong cognitive abilities.
? Proven ability to work on and track efforts across several concurrent development efforts.
