We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join this dedicated team in the role of Consultant Specialist, Information Security.

In this role, you will:

• Be an Information Security Consultant
• Possess hands-on experience in Information Security Risk Assessment
• Be adept at facilitating training and technical development programmes
• Be well versed in the protection of Information Assets
• Develop tools which can improve the process efficiency
• Work in compliance with Group Policies

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

• Demonstrate understanding of information security and privacy needs and requirements of financial services institutions
• Expertise in information security domains, especially Application Security, Risk Management
• Experience performing application security risk assessments and or security tests and presenting mitigation recommendations to IT and Business
• Demonstrate understanding of well-known web/Internet attack types, such as cross-site scripting, SQL injection, buffer overflows, format string bugs etc
• Demonstrate understanding of internet protocols, network architecture, appliances, and knowledge of network security technologies
• Good experience with integration of security services, including authentication, entitlements, encryption and audit capabilities as part of an overall system designs
• Experience with one or more of the following; XML, HTML, HTTP, SOA, and programming languages such as Java, COBOL, RPG, Perl and Java Script will be an added advantage
• Sound understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) with a focus on security
• Working knowledge of encryption technology including one or more of PKI, digital signatures, SSL, VPN IPSec and Single Sign-On approaches
• Professional certifications in Information Security (CISSP, CRISC, CISA, etc) are preferred
