We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join this dedicated team in the role of Consultant Specialist, Testing.

In this role, you will:

• Liaise with Project Manager/Test Manager during the test process.
• Assist in test requirements analysis, strategy and estimation
• Design of reusable test scripts and test data
• Analyze test result and report test status
• Ensure tractability between requirements and test cases
• Participate in defect prevention activities
• Collect and analyze test metrics
• Carry out test execution for complex functions

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

• Have a good understanding of the test process and testing knowledge.
• Effective communication skills in spoken and written English.
• Good planning skills and quick response for the change
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills, able to work independently, proactively and under pressure against multiple deadlines.
• Be able to work under pressure to complete the project in tight schedule in a cost effective way
• Experienced in message-driven test automation is an advantage.
• Knowledge in Java, Linux shell scripts, Sybase, Oracle and low latency messaging middleware is an advantage.

Ideal Experience (following skills/experiences would be an added advantage)

• Understanding of Foreign Exchange and Money Market/Fixed Income products and life cycle
• Working in a global team with different cultures
• Working in different locations around the globe
• Project Management and Business Analysis experience
• Working in an Agile test model, test driven development, etc.
• Working with Automation and Performance testing tools
