Fiberguide Industries is a key revenue generator for Halma in China. As General Manager of Fiberguide China this candidate can lead his/her organization to its next level of growth. This position offers the opportunity to lead a smaller company division while enjoying being part of the larger Halma group and the developmental opportunities that this provides.

General Description:

The General Manager / Technical Lead Position is a high visibility, high impact role spearheading our growth efforts through sales and new product development for China. This role will require a broad range of skills including P&L management, and leading groups as diverse as sales, applications / R&D engineering and manufacturing. The successful candidate will demonstrate market and strategic acumen, with the ability to identify opportunities and prioritize actions.


Responsibilities

1. The formulation and execution of the strategic plan for Fiberguide China.

2. The management of all functional groups of Fiberguide China.

3. The fostering of key customer, supplier and R&D and other relationships.

4. The delivery of year over year profit growth.


Qualifications

Educations: MS/PhD in Engineering, Physics, Optics, or equivalent

Work Experience: 5+ years in a leadership role including technical and/or sales management. Technical experience with laser delivery, optics, and/or opto-mechanical design will be key to success.

Excellent communication and people management skills. The ability to forge strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.

This position will report to the President of Fiberguide located in the U.S.
