Responsibility:

· Monitor and witness test procedures carried out by manufacturers and suppliers as defined by CFPS and/or custom-er quality plans, national and international standards and industrial best practice
· Confirm, if required certify and report on results of testing
· Observe, advise and if necessary train local QM/QC/QA personnel
· Perform testing where specifically required by quality plans or CFPS and/or customer requirements
· Ensure NCs with potential customer impact are detected, clearly defined and punctually reported to the relevant pro-ject teams
· Monitor and verify corrective and preventative actions defined by CFPS or customers
· Monitor supplier internal test and NC activities with particular focus on root cause analysis and effective corrective

and preventive actions
· Introduce, monitor and evaluate delegated supplier development activities
· Observe local manufacturing, quality and management procedures and processes and advise on best practice and potential corrective actions, to be included in supplier development as appropriate
· Audit and evaluate suppliers and manufacturers when required
Requirement:

· Recognised formal academic or vocational qualification in mechanical engineering, industrial production, power generation or similar.

· Additional qualification in welding and/or painting processes and/or testing procedures to European, US or international standards or equivalent long-term practical experience.

Experience:

· Several (>5) years experience in a manufacturing environment involving fabrication of large-scale steel, stainless steel or aluminium products, vessels or structures.

· Welding and/or coating manufacturing and testing procedures.

· Working within an ISO 9001 or similar certified management system.

Additional Knowledge:

· Fluent written and spoken English

· MS-Office or equivalent office package

· Electronic communication via eMail and Internet HSE training with regards to manufacturing and construction sites and use of personal safety equipment
