Accountability
The Sustainability Relations Responsible is accountable to:
? Document, analyze and update on Sustainability Developments
? Ensure internal cooperation with Head Office Sustainability team & Communication Department
? Follow up on CSR trends, news and other brands sustainability programs


Main Responsibilities
Proactive Communication and Information Sharing
? Actively communicate using diverse channels, contributing to better visibility of the H&M Sustainability work
? Keep the relevant people updated on the CSR trends, news and other brands/industry sustainability programs
? Represent H&M in selected local meetings/events where our presence is needed or will be useful to visualize our work in positive way
? Highlight the best practices on Sustainability with the suppliers and proactively communicate where it is needed
? Keep an extensive knowledge and understanding of our programs/activities on the ground.
? Develop a communication plan

Coordinate Stakeholder Engagement
? Develop a stakeholder engagement plan
? Follow the positive developments; constructively engage with external partners and stakeholders to share efforts when needed
? Responsible for media/donors/shareholders’ visits to factories
? Based on the need facilitate /moderate stakeholder dialogues on relevant subjects
? Develop good relations with relevant government people, authorities and embassies

Document, Analyze, Update on Regional Sustainability Developments
? Document on regular basis the improvements, successful stories and impact of our activities in the factories
? Provide regular updates with analysis on critical issues of the industry to the SRM and seniors
? Support with relevant information and facts in case of incidents and events



Internal Cooperation with Head Office Sustainability team & Communication Department
? Actively interact with media/journalists – local and international in close consultation with Communication/Press/Info and Sustainability Department
? Draft media messages jointly with the Communication Department for respective countries
? Prepare country specific Q&A
? Be the contact person for press department and handle all requests in close coordination with Countries

Education and Experience requirements
? Graduation from any reputed University. B.A. or above background is preferred
? At least 5 years of experience in related position in international company

Knowledge and Skills requirements
? Presentation skills
? Strategic thinking
? Effective communication
? Good written and Spoken English
? Well organized
? Good knowledge in Microsoft applications
