The China SMSP Cloud Incubation Sales team for Office 365 is hiring a Technology Specialist with a passion for customers and technology. The Office 365™ Platform is an internet-scale cloud services in Microsoft data centers.
The Technology Solutions Professional (TSP) for Office 365 adds value to Microsoft by leading Office 365 technical pre-sales for SMSP cross segment customers starting at the 10% Develop through 80% Close sales stage and in same priority to drive the consumption and usage for Office 365 since it’s the cloud service which means the future for Microsoft especially we change to a Mobile First and Cloud First company. This includes utilizing the Office 365 Customer Decision Framework to rapidly qualify in/out opportunities, prove the value and technical fit of Office 365, aligning Microsoft Premier Deployment or Partners to support Office 365 deployment, active usage, influencing adoption of Microsoft Premier Online, developing customer trust in Microsoft’s cloud services, and partnering with the BG Solution Architect team to ensure what is sold can be delivered as a service. This results in aligned customer expectations, a differentiated approach versus the competition, higher market share, increased customer satisfaction, and revenue growth.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Successfully drive the win rate versus key priority target opportunities (GAPE, Notes, GroupWise, Open Source, Legacy Exchange, EA Renewal, New EA and Kiosk).
- Lead Technical Briefing and Solution Alignment Workshop (SAW) helping customer technical decision makers and influencers to understand “what” Office 365 is and “how” Office 365 will work in their environment.
- Orchestrate Migration Due Diligence and Technical Reviews ensuring successful hand off to BG Solution Architects to ensure technical feasibility and validate coexistence and migration approach.
- Orchestrate appropriate Partner and MS Premier Deployment and/or Partners to lead and execute migration to the cloud. Influence Partner and Microsoft Premier Online adoption for lifecycle support.
- Introducing Microsoft Enterprise Services and/or Partners for readiness and/or value added services to the Office 365 solution.
- Providing technical insights into the customer business case and final proposal.
- Ensuring that self-readiness, the readiness of other TSPs and team members are maintained for supported solutions.
- Be the technical pioneer and transformation leader to drive the Cloud selling for the whole SMS&P China organization.
Requirements and Skills/Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of cloud computing technologies, emerging trends and related technology including knowledge of competitors such as Google Docs and on premise Microsoft BPIO offering.
- Knowledge of development methodologies - including ability to code solutions in managed & native code.
- Depth knowledge and experience in large scale, multi-tier, enterprise OA and online architectures, and Data Centers.
- Knowledge and experience with Hyper-V is a plus.
- Depth knowledge of security process, principals, governance, and standards such as HIPAA and PCI and local governance standards.
- Insatiable desire to be a leader in Microsoft’s Cloud Computing strategy and passion to compete and win.
- Able to articulate pros & cons of design/architecture decision across a wide spectrum of factors - e.g. Exchange, Sharepoint, Lync, startup/shutdown, etc.
- Able to coach and mentor a broad constituency - PTSs, Consultants, Partners, & Customers.
Able to distill widely variant feedback into root cause issues and provide actionable feedback to other stakeholders.
