The Lenovo OEM account team is seeking a sales lead to lead our design-in and sell-in team efforts with multiple Lenovo Business Groups, across PC, tablet, phone, cloud services, app ecosystem and etc. This RBI/S-Plan based position is based in Redmond.

Overall Scope / Impact / Responsibilities
Lenovo has have expanded from their heritage as the #1PC OEM worldwide, acquisition of IBM, NEC, Medion and other brands and through highly focused organic growth to become the number one PC manufacturer worldwide. Now they are going after the mobile space and target to grow their mobile business WW.

The selected candidate will work with account v-team members include engineering, marketing and operations resources based in and out of Redmond. This position reports to the Sales Director of Lenovo account team, based in Redmond.

Responsibilities and KPIs for the role include

1. Ownership of the Microsoft - Lenovo Ecosystem and Cloud Business Group strategy
2. Ownership of the Microsoft - Lenovo Mobile Business Group strategy
3. Long Lead Engagement - Driving, closing and delivering meaningful, appropriate consumer, SMB, REL design wins, across tablet, phone and other devices when applicable
4. Portfolio Management - engaging with the Lenovo’s business Product Group to deliver consumer and commercial mobile product portfolios that are innovative and drive customer demand
5. Managing and enhancing senior Lenovo Business Group executive relationships and ROB including QBRs and EBCs.

Overall management responsibilities include contributing to:
1. Tasked with design-in (closing the pre-installation of Microsoft licenses and cloud service solutions broadly within the MNA’s product portfolio) and sell-in (influencing the product assortment purchased by the MNA’s area sales center of operations and offered to their channel partners).
2. Partner closely with MS OEM-internal teams including engineering, marketing, policy, licensing & operations, and product groups to execute on the account plan.
3. Work to align country PAM sales activities to ensure the sell-thru of the MNA’s devices in channel to end users.
4. Increase employee satisfaction and understanding of OEM business and MS strategy within the workgroup as measured by the annual MS Poll survey.
5. Ensure team compliance with all Microsoft values, policies and local law.

Qualifications

-Four-year college degree required (Business or Science / Engineering disciplines)
-Minimum 15 years direct or inside sales experience in IT, telco, or consumer electronics industries with proven ability to call high within partners
-Minimum 5 years people management experience
-Mobile/Embedded industry knowledge including hardware standards, operating systems, and key distribution channels is required
-Proven partner relationship skills at a partner VP/SVP level
-Excellent oral and written Mandarin and English skills required

Other attributes of the ideal candidate include:
-Technical understanding of mobile and embedded product development
-Technical and business understanding of device software services manufacturing lifecycle management
-Proven capability to build category product marketing strategies and influence product portfolios across devices and services Superlative, persuasive presentation and negotiation skills
-Strong planning and organization skills, with the ability to manage multiple, complex projects simultaneously
-Data-driven, independent thinker that can operate within a broad framework yet maintain excellent communication with multiple stakeholders

25% or more International travel required for this job.
