Purpose:
Reporting to the GCR Services GM, the Business Manager is responsible for managing the regional governance model, and support GCR Services LT to drive business and people agenda through standard rhythm across the organization. The successful Business Manager must have the ability to think strategically at a global level and effectively develop key processes, procedures and communications that facilitate business planning and execution. This position requires extensive cross-group coordination at all levels, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build compelling internal/external presentations and comprehensive business review materials. The Business Manager will provide insight and advice to LT around financial, organization and operational issues, participate in overall strategy decisions, and partner in business execution.

Key responsibilities
-Direct accountability for effective implementation GCR Services governance model with support from the Services LT to clarify priorities and streamline internal meetings across GCR services. Support key rhythm of business activities with Finance & HR team including QBU, MYR, PRISM and MGX.
-Provide direction and guidance to business planning & sales excellence community in the region to one business calendar to maximize selling time and to effectively drive Corp & Local executive account/partner planning & engagement to our revenue and market share goals
-Work closely with internal communications, Services line team to drive Services alignment of outreach calendar to maximize the impact of high profile external events and employee engagement plans.
-Evaluate and consult on Services engagement opportunities and outreach messaging
-Create a result-driven work environment to encourage teamwork, collaboration and open discussions with HR, Finance and other functions through continued space planning/expansion, change management and GCR services leader’s community engagement events.

Experience and Qualifications:
-BA or equivalent 10+ year degree required, Microsoft experience & MBA preferred
-Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills required, including ability to analyze multiple sources of data and recommend actions based on analysis
-Proven track record of business management responsibility, organization agility and strong business acumen
-Ability to communicate effectively and concisely - both orally and in written form and to effectively influence others in multiple groups and collaborate to achieve specific objectives
-Analytical ability to understand complex problem with many variables and ambiguity and draw conclusions and solve problems
-Excellent Project management and organization skills required, including ability to manage multiple competing priorities across different groups in the organization
-Proven ability to communicate effectively across different levels in the organization in English required, reading and conversation in Chinese Mandarin preferred
