职位描述
General Summary
l Responsible for translation projects of Translation Unit within Functional Services Provider Division of WuXiPRA
l Responsible for translation project management and coordinating
l Responsible for document translation and reviewing of translations by other translators
l Support manager of translation unit with translator team construction and management
l Support translator team training in translation skills and translation software
l Support daily communication with customers on specific translation projects
l Adheres to the Quality Management System (QMS) and quality management practices
Accountabilities
l Ensure all projects are delivered on time and to high quality service product standards
l Set up project team, and create and manage customer specific databases with SDL Trados
l Set up timelines for each translation stage and follow up translation progress to ensure the due dates for each translation stages could be met
l Regularly perform in-process review of translations by other translators and provide guidance for improvement
l Translate or review a certain amount of documents in each month as defined by translation manager
l Collect customer feedbacks and organize translation team to provide prompt responses
Qualifications
l Undergraduate degree in English, or Medicinal English from an accredited institution is required
l Advanced degree at Masters level is preferred
l Experience within clinical research and/or pharmaceutical industry is preferred.
l Experience in translation and reviewing in clinical/medical literature/research
l Substantial experience in project management and coordinating is preferred
l Experiences with word processing such as Word, presentation software such as PowerPoint, and electronic spreadsheets and databases such as Excel are required
l Experiences in translation software, such as Trados, is required
l Read, write, and speak fluent English and Mandarin is required
