JOB OBJECTIVES:
- To conduct technical activities to ensure the successful achievement of business objectives and to ensure that customer demand for reliable quality products can be met safely, cost effectively and timely
- To ensure that customer demand for quick system solutions, trouble-shooting, prototyping can be met safely, cost effectively and on time.


MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. To organize and provide efficient and cost effective technical service to customers
2. To provide fast and best possible technical service to the customers; Follow up on customer complaints in a fast, efficient, and professional manner and assist customers in their problem solving in the best possible manner
3. To prepare and keep updated professional documentation of all technical activities and trials carried out in-house and at customer site
4. To conduct technical presentations, and line trials at customer sites
5. To collect marketing information, develop new customers, and coordinate closely with sales to achieve sales target; Promote the establishment of long term customer relationship to ensure a profitable customer base
6. To secure cost reduction of raw materials used
7. To prepare and maintain formulations and ensure that formulations and technical know-how are kept company internally within the circle of authorized persons; Prepare and continuously review QC standards and production processes
8. To maintain up-to-date knowledge of recent developments and trends in the polyurethane industry by close cooperation with other BASF system houses for technology transfer, and attend training courses, lectures, conferences, reading, etc.
9. To be responsible for the cleanness and safety of TS laboratories and workshop areas
10. To ensure that BASF and local EHS regulations are observed within the company, report any areas of concern to EHS Manager or Division Manager
11. To strictly follow internal quality requirements(TS164949), BASF and local SHE requirements report any areas of concern to DPM or EHS Manager.
12. To be back-up of PD engineer, TS engineer
13. To act as a delegate for footwear TS/PD engineer to provide technical service and short term development for customers; Maintains internal technical documentaries and activities are in good shape; Handle idle material treatment in time.


REQUIREMENTS:

1. Bachelor or above degree in Chemistry, Polymer Science or similar
2. More than 5 year of experience in Polyurethane or Chemical Industry
3. Good communication skills in English and Mandarin
4. Striving for achievement, Customer Focus, Communication and Interpersonal Understanding, and can handle TS trouble shooting on customer site independently.
