Position Summary: Setting manufacturing processes and work cells (defines layouts, material flows, installation of equipments, etc.). Supporting and improving the design and efficiency of equipment, processes and systems through the use of engineering practices which includes the implementation of Lean Manufacturing Practices and Ergonomic.

Preferred Education and Experience:
1. Bachelors of Science in Manufacturing Engineering or Related Field
2. Experience in an automotive related field preferred
3. 5 years engineering experience
4. Knowledge and experience with Lean Manufacturing methods
5. Good written and spoken English is preferred

Duties include, but not limited to, the following:
- Manage plant layout drawing and actual installation of items on the plant floor (material flow,

safety regulations, etc.)
- Set up of work cell layout on plant floor based on Shape China standard.
- Ensure work request on time completion.
- Actively participate in ongoing Problem Solving Processes (CAR’s and Basics).
- Champion and Leader for Lean Manufacturing Principles.
- Update and implement safety, process and continuous improvement suggestions generated by the

associates.
- Works with Quality Engineer, Welding Engineer, Rollform Process Engineer on part and process maturation
- Drive improvements for plant KPI, VE/VA, ergonomic, lean manufacturing, safety, etc.
- Work close with production department for special fixture and rack design and review
- Participate in TS16949 / ISO 14001 system implement
- Other functions as directed by the supervisor
