Position Summary:
This position is responsible for collecting and analyzing of market intelligence, coordinating the development and implementation of market research projects to support business decisions across Intertek China.

Internal Contacts: Central & Business Marketing, Business Lines, Professional Services Partners
External Contacts: Market Research Institutions and Partners, Agencies/Vendors

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the effort to build a comprehensive database that contains the information of competition and industry, market change, macro-economics, regulatory environment, new business opportunities as well as generation of regular reports for various audiences.
- Work closely with multiple groups across the company to define existing research, identify information gaps and provide recommendations on how that information can be acquired and incorporated into the central repository.
- Maintain the contact with the business marketing team, keep the abreast of market conditions and rapid response.
- Consumer/business insights project design, execution, analysis and reporting to drive customer centric growth strategies and actions, including quantitative and qualitative market research projects.
- Use data mining and analytical techniques to flesh out customer insights in database.
- Work closely with various internal and external partners to ensure projects are executed with high quality and cost effectiveness.
- Perform other job related assignments as required.

Required Qualifications:

- Bachelor degree or above, major in market intelligence, business analysis or related field
- 3-5 years experience in International market research or MNCs
- Strong business analysis know-how and skills, with qualitative and quantitative research experience
- Be able to think conceptually and creatively, while balancing practicality of approach
- A tactful and creative professional with commercial savvy and excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Self-motivated, fast leaner, with ability to initiate projects and see-through to completion
- Strong computer skills for MS Office, design software and data model will be a plus
- Proficient in spoken and written English and Mandarin
