Responsibilities:

· To determine, develop and recommend appropriate QA/QC controls, processes and procedures, to ensure that all products developed meet mandatory safety and legal standards, complying with Company quality, environmental and ethical requirements / policies

· Accountable for the Technical Service function of the office for respective KPI performance

· Management of agreed departmental budgets for travel, testing and inspection expenditure

· Monitor the performance of suppliers through assessment and grading. Action plans for improvements to be agreed, developed and instigated.

· Define and maintain quality procedures and standards in line with Company / departmental policies and strategies.

· Training & Development of team & source base

· Provide validation in claims issues

· Plan & prioritizing production schedule with DMM to ensure on time delivery

· Drive pre-production meeting with Merchandise Team and highlight ways of improving working process/potential quality issues

Requirements:

· College graduate or equivalent education, with minimum 15 years of experience in apparel manufacturing

· Formal technical qualification.

· Knowledge of appropriate standards and legislation.

· Must have experience in managing a team of minimum 20 staff

· Experience of managing team members from different nationalities would be an advantage.

· Excellent communication skills and good command of spoken and written English.

· Good Microsoft Office / PC skills
