Overall Job Purpose:
The Business Development (BD) Liaison has the responsibility for the efficient support and delivery of all business activities within their defined territory. The BD Liaison,in-conjunction with other individuals within Choice Pharma (e.g., Country Manager/Country Head, Finance Manager) will also help to support the identification of new preferred vendors, as well as support the ongoing development of streamlined operational procedures. The BD Liaison may also be designated as Vendor Management Representative responsible for selection and management of vendors.
1.Key Accountabilities
1.1 BD Activities
·Develop and implement sales plans and presentation materials.Oversee the implementation and progress of each protocol.
·Provide required documentation of achievement of weekly, monthly and yearly sales goals. Prepare all necessary documents required from customer, for example, RFI, RFP, etc.
·Consolidate and regularly update of costing from suppliers, vendors, rates card from hospital, etc.
·Develop and solidify long-term relationships with pharmaceutical companies, medical institutes, Governmental division, etc.
·Organize meetings throughout the duration of the protocol between customer and clinical trials operational staff.
·Provide feedback to clinical trial operations on specific customer needs .
·Meet with clinical trial customers to discuss progress of their trial.
·Attend industry trade shows and meetings and FDA advisory meetings with clients.
·Keep company informed of any significant factors affecting achievement of assigned responsibility and goals.
·Prepare and deliver accurate client database.
1.2 Vendor Selection and Management
·May work as delegated Vendor Management Representative. Responsibilities include:
Ø Selection of appropriate vendor for use.
Ø Overseeing performance of vendors.
Ø Maintenance of the vendor inventory list.
2.Job Requirements
2.1 Skills

·Understanding about their market and competitors' products.
·Good communications skills, both writing and verbally.

2.2 Education
·Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business management/ administration or other related fields like revenue generation, strategy management, etc from a certified college.
2.3 Language Skills
·Excellent written and oral skills in both local language and English.
2.4 Minimum Work Experience
·Previous BD experience is preferred
