Role Summary/Purpose

The Field issue mechanical engineer is responsible for identifying the airlines customer field issue and providing technical solution or the technical prediction with big data analytics to reduce the interruption of airlines operation such IFSD, cancellation etc.

Essential Responsibilities

• Identify the customer key field issue.
• Work with data analytical team and US team for a technical solution on these field issues or a prediction of these field issues with big data analytics.
• Deliver the project with good quality on schedule.
• Demonstrates accountability for functional, business, and broad company objectives.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Engineering Bachelor degree from an accredited university or college
• Must have 3+ years engineering experience in an aircraft/engine design, maintenance and overhaul company.
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills

Desired Characteristics

• Powerplant engineer in airlines with field troubleshooting experience.
• Strong data analytics experience. Six sigma certified is desired.
