I. POSITION OVERVIEW
As an Account Manager, you will serve as the lead point of contact for all operational aspects of the The Merchant Operations Support Specialist position sits within the Merchant solution team and is responsible for providing a variety of clerical and operational support tasks for SMB and Enterprise level merchant accounts. These responsibilities include data mining and analysis, SMB and large Enterprise merchant accounts and Go-Live-Process support, etc. The position requires close working and collaboration with Merchant account manager teams, business support team and sales administration.
II. CORE DUTIES
Work with business partners to support analytics for PayPal APAC on infrastructure, business measurement and business insight development for Internet Marketing, Relationship Marketing, CRM, etc.
Apply business intelligence tools to develop robust data platform to support various lines-of-business and channels. Measure ongoing business performance by reporting and understand key drivers.
Communicate insights and support analytical / business partners.
Provide technical expertise in data manipulation, measuring business performance and running research using advanced approach.
Support ad-hoc projects, collaborate with global teams and take part in international projects.

IV. JOB REQUIREMENTS
Ability of understanding business problems, developing innovative and practical solutions to deliver business results, and communicating to the business partners and execute on solutions.
Proficient in SAS, SQL, VBA programming and Microsoft office.
Extesive experience with large data sets and data manipulation.
Strong oral and written communication skills in both English and Mandarin.
Ability to multi-task, handle multiple projects with demonstrated follow-through.
A sense of humor, personal integrity, and an appreciation for team-work.
Advanced degree in quantitative fields such as statistics, economics, mathematics, computer science, operations research or MBA.
V. EXPERIENCE
1+ years of marketing and business analytics experience.
Experience in data analysis and data mining is preferred
1+ years related work experience including PayPal and/or eBay experience preferred.
VI. EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor Degree or education equivalent, fluency in English
