Job Description:

1.) Identify potential customers among quality Chinese manufacturing operations (local factories of international companies or export/quality orientated Chinese companies).
2.) Create sales opportunities by blending top quality products with technical information, application understanding and top notch customer service.
3.) Leverage your relationship with customers to sell additional products and services.
4.) Provide customers with technical support/advice to help them solve their fastener problems or recommend alternatives for new applications.
5.) Work with customer's purchasing department to explain the full cost of fasteners (purchase, installation and warranty issues) and help them chose the right alternative for their company.
6.) Diagnose fastener installation problems and provide simple tool repair services to customers.
7.) Contribute to corporate strategy to help Duncan Bolt grow & succeed in China.
8.) Other tasks as assigned by the Sales Manager.

Requirements:

1.) Willingness to aggressively seek out new customers for Duncan Bolt.
2.) Engineering Degree or Diploma, preferably in mechanical or metallurgical engineering.
3.) Mechanical and technical skills or aptitude - including ability to perform simple repairs on fastener installation equipment.
4.) Excellent oral and written communication & presentation skills (both English and Chinese).
5.) Minimum 3 years experience in fastener applications and 1 year sales experience.
6.) Previous experience with fastener installation (or other) tooling preferred.
7.) Industry knowledge of railcar, automotive, heavy duty truck, mining, energy or other manufacturing industries strongly preferred.
8.) Domestic travel will be required.

Salary: Base plus commission.
