Summary: This is a full time permanent position on our Sales Team. Goal is to build our business within your specified industry - both by developing new customers and selling more products to existing customers.

Job Description:

1.) Develop and implement strategies that a) help sell additional products to existing customers and b) find new customers within your industry. Including but not limited to monthly meetings with Sales Team to review SWOT (strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats).
2.) Research industry events to look for potential opportunities including but not limited to a) project announcements, b) design changes and c) new entrants to the industry.
3.) Prepare quotations for new inquires and assist Account Managers / Sales Engineers with preparing and maintaining quotations for established customers.
4.) Determine appropriate level of follow up for all new inquires to increase our yield (quote to sale ratio).
5.) Ensure fulfillment of existing sales contracts (deliver products and receive money).
6.) Work with Account Managers / Sales Engineers research and provide customers with fastening alternatives for various application challenges.
7.) Work with Account Managers / Sales Engineers diagnose and correct any fastener and/or tooling failures.
8.) Prepare customer profitability analysis reports for core customers.
9.) Other tasks as assigned by the Sales Manager

Requirements:

1.) Engineering Degree or Diploma, preferably in mechanical or metallurgical engineering.
2.) Mechanical and technical skills or aptitude.
3.) Minimum 1 year previous fastener related experience, 3-5 years preferred.
4.) Excellent oral and written communication & presentation skills (both English and Chinese).
5.) Customer service and detail orientated; able to work in a team environment.
6.) Knowledge of fastener installation tooling preferred.

Salary: Base plus commission
