Production Manager

A major international plastics manufacturing operation with production facilities situated in Conghua, Guangzhou City is seeking an experienced and highly credentialed Production Manager to head our new production facility specializing in the manufacturing of coolers.

Applicants need to have had experience in the following areas:

1. PU Foaming
2. Injection Moulding
3. Blow Moulding

Job Responsibilities
? Responsible for the implementation of production planning, scheduling and supervision of all the above processes to ensure timely and quality production;
? Proper training and supervision at each production station;
? Supervising the maintenance of all equipment/machines used on the work floor to ensure production is run at optimum levels;
? Analyze and evaluate the piece rate remuneration system;
? Provide on-site training to workers;
? Ensuring all production records are accurately maintained daily;
? Maintain orderly, clean and housekeeping on the work floors;
? Comply with safety and security rules to comply with CTPAT requirements.

Requirements
? Minimum of 10 years of practical experience with an international company of which at least 3 years should be at a senior supervisory level;
? Team work skills – ability to work as part of the management team responsible for the design and development of new products including tooling; tooling trials quality control etc.
? Good co-ordination and communication and time management skills.
? Strong leadership
? Familiar with ERP management software would be an advantage.
