Logistics Manager
A major international plastics manufacturing operation with production facilities situated in Conghua, Guangzhou City is seeking an experienced and highly credentialed Logistics Manager to head our new production facilities which are specializing in the manufacturing of coolers.
Applicants need to have had experience in the following areas:
1. Lean manufacturing techniques and be familiar with ERP management software.
2. Warehouse management and security.
3. An understanding of plastic injection moulding; blow moulding and PU foaming.
Job Responsibilities
? Procurement and control of all materials used in the production processes;
? Scheduling all production from parts to fully assembled product based on information provided by the Factory Manager;
? Proper recording and planning for all inventory – from raw material to parts to finished goods which will include the establishment of proper tracking systems for all categories of inventory;
? Supervision of all the above processes to ensure timely and quality production;
? Proper training and supervision at all levels of the logistic department;
? Provide on-site training to workers;
? Ensuring all inventory records are accurately maintained daily;
? Maintain orderly, clean and housekeeping on the work floors;
? Comply with safety and security rules to comply with CTPAT requirements.
Requirements
? Minimum of 10 years of practical experience with an international company of which at least 3 years should be at a senior supervisory level
? Good co-ordination and communication and time management skills.
? Strong leadership
? Experience with ERP management software; Just in Time management etc. is essential.
