Activities may include, but are not limited to:

*Provide technical expertise in printing to support global operations. Print technologies are primarily screen and digital.
* Work cross functionally to develop standard operating procedures, training documents, testing protocols, and quality assurance tools.
*Identify strategic technology opportunities within the platform and perform return on investment analysis.
*Identify and propose capital investments.
*Successfully initiate, lead, and implement projects to deliver planned results to the Objectives, Goals, Strategies, and Measures. Manage projects using formalized methods. Track and report on project results and metrics.
*Support global operations to understand and own process changes.
*Facilitate and support Kaizen events, driving continuous improvement in the organization.
*Communicate to all levels within the organization ensuring key stakeholders are engaged and informed.
*Lead teams to identify and permanently resolve problems through the use of effective counter measures including, but not limited to; process changes, Poka Yoke, equipment modifications, and/or product changes.
*Plan, develop, enhance and implement control systems to ensure product, material, process and procedural compliance with quality standards.
*Work closely with Quality Assurance, Production and Product Development to resolve chronic manufacturing issues & to improve efficiency of product performance throughout the value chain.
* Provide on-machine expertise to operators and other staff personnel to ensure manufacturing capability and capacity are meeting delivery and performance targets. Support all shifts as required.
*Identify and procure new equipment/components to support process improvements. Assists in start up of new equipment installations/transfers and with product commercialization and qualification. Develop and maintain a network of reputable vendors/suppliers.

Sr. Technical Engineer - Requirements:
-Engineering degree required; Mechanical preferred
-4 + years Engineering, Process Engineering, or related experience in printing industry
-Lean experience required
-Six Sigma experience preferred
*Ability to develop human resources globally to create sustainable changes in performance
*Ability to lead global project teams to deliver planned results
*Ability to manage multiple projects with limited supervision
*Excellent verbal and written communication skills among all cultures and levels in the organization
*Strong Engineering project management skills
*Strong coaching skills and the ability to influence without reporting lines
*Problem solving and process improvements
*Sound decision making process
*Coordinate, balance, and prioritize multiple projects and internal/external resources
*Work at a self-directed, efficient pace and possess a high level of energy and initiative
*Interact well within a Team Environment well as lead and facilitate team efforts
*Excellent computer skills
*Travel up to 75%
