Main Job responsibilities

PRICE, QUOTATION AND PRODUCTION FOLLOW UP
Collect prices of raw materials, monitor competitor activities/ benchmark prices on materials – fabric/yarn/ trims as relevant to local market.
Work with the Material Sourcing Responsible to secure global top 50 is available each season.
Work with garment quotation merchandising teams in negotiating and finalizing best deals with suppliers, deliver cost savings and efficiency for materials.
Work with the local/ global SMR to implement the sustainable material strategy for the region
Secure material in stock, follow up material booking, house booking
Work proactively on material production status of each process
Secure the material quality and delivery by coordinating with mills, garment supplier, production merchandiser where relevant.
INTERNAL COMMUNICATION AND COOPERATION
Have a strong cooperation with R&D, merchandisers, QA, QC and Sustainability team for effective execution.
Take initiative to communicate market information on material prices/ availability.
COOPERATION WITH SUPPLIERS
Keep close contact with material suppliers for updated status on deliveries, coordinate with garment suppliers if necessary.
Regular communication, give and receive feedback to improve performance

Job requirements

-Textile school graduate/ Textile engineer/ Specialisation in relevant material e.g. Leather/ Metal/ Fabric etc.
-With textile /garment production experience ,Prior experience in material procurement
-Preferably experience from similar position in supplier or representative office
-Good command of English Able to use all Microsoft applications
-Creative ,Eager to learn ,positive, good communication skill
