We are looking for an experienced and high caliber personnel to help design, develop, test, and evaluate integrated systems for managing industrial production processes including cost analysis, human work factors, material flow, quality control, inventory control, logistics and production coordination.

The Job

Apply statistical methods and perform mathematical calculations to determine manufacturing processes, staff requirements, and production standards.
Formulate sampling procedures, design and develop forms and instructions for recording, evaluating, reporting quality and reliability data.
Coordinate quality control objectives and activities to resolve production problems, maximize product reliability and minimize cost.
Communicate with sample room and factory management to develop production and design standards.
Assist sample room and factories by proposing design layout of equipment, materials, and workspace to achieve maximum efficiency
Recommend methods for improving utilization of personnel, materials and utilities.

The person
Formal training in GSD and experienced working with GSD analysis.
Familiar with costing calculation including costing analysis, cost minimization.
Knowledge of sample making process including pattern, mini-marker adjustment, sewing, packing, etc. to achieve cost savings on bulk production
Experienced in garment materials viz. fabric, printing, embroidery, lace, elastic.
Able to propose factory/production line layout to enhance production efficiency.
Good communication and presentation skills for effective work relationship with internal departments (Merchandising and Sampling teams) and factories
Proficient in Written and spoken English and Cantonese
Good computer skills in word, excel, powerpoint
Travel to factories within China is required with occasional travel to offshore factories.
