Job Description

The position as Internal Sales Engineer is based in PR electronics' newly established headoffice in China. You will report to the General Manager. This position is a senior position, offering an unique opportunity to create a strong technical department, capable of setting us apart from our competition. You will be in charge of four main areas:

1. Develop a strong technical department capable of acting as consultant to our customers pre-and post-sales.

a. Configuration of products, diagnose, troubleshoot and post-sales service

b. Engage with engineers of our large global accounts.

c. Suggest the right PR products (ROI) for our customers' applications.

2. Develop a strong training program for our sales engineers, making sure they are equipped with the right knowledge, technical knowledge and value proposition when engaging with our customers.

a. Train new colleagues in PR Product.

b. Drive and leverage synergies from global accounts.

c. Refine and expand PR value proposition.

3. Be the interface to our marketing department in Denmark, in ensuring that China have the right localized marketing material, product launch packages and drive the positioning of PR China through media, industry, exhibitions, design institutes, etc.

a. Consistent product & brand positioning across China.

b. Competitor mapping and product comparison.

c. Translation and localization of our technical material.

d. Extend product launch packages to China. Actively drive "Innovation Selling".

4. Lay the foundation for expansion into new areas and markets across China, through market analysis, pioneering, and building a strong network.

a. Build and maintain strong relationship with design institutes and government.

b. Expand customer pipeline in areas not covered by PR own sales.

c. Prepare and support expansion into new geographical areas.

You will be an integral part of the senior leadership of China, and positioned for a career path that can take you into asia-pacific or global assignments.

Desired Skills and Experience

Master degree in a related engineering discipline is a must. Minimum 5 years working experience. You have worked with electronic signal conditioning equipment before, you know our market, and understand the applications and broader technical implications, ie. PLC, DCS, etc. You speak fluent English, which allows you to communicate on technical matters across borders and build strong relationship to our engineering department in Denmark. You like to find solutions to problems, have a strong sense of customer service and possess pioneering spirit which will help you to build this function up from the ground.
