Product Developer - Clothing

Reporting to the Sourcing Manager, you will be responsible for developing 'right first time' sample in accordancewith Mothercare brief and specification so as to increase sales, margin, profits and market share.


Job Profile:

· Develop a positive relationship with UK designer and buyer team to understand needs; direction and develop new products;
· Capability of research and develop new factory or new products or raw material
· Knowledge on clothing; baby Softline products in terms of fabrication and specification;
· Work with technical team on green seal/ gold seal approval; standard compliment and quality consistency
· Critical path management and work with planner to ensure first launch delivery on track;
· Work close with factories to understand capabilities to ensure a strong team built up;


Job Requirement:

· Degree holder of garment or business or related major;
· At least 5 year relevant experience from similar company organization; with Baby & Kids'garment experience is advantage
· Familiar with clothing production process and business requirement;
· Good in interpersonal skill, communication skill with overseas colleagues and influencing skill;
· Able to develop and guide with team spirit;
· Good communication in English and Mandarin is essential;
