Brand Business - Finance Manger
Company background: The company is a leading ODM lingerie manufacturer which specializes in fashionable women's intimate apparel. It is headquartered in in Hong Kong with office in London and 3 manufacturing plants in China and Vietnam.
With its successful track records in ODM business, the group has started a new " Brand Business" for retail and wholesale of its own branded products in China. The Brands business currently own shops in Shanghai, Suzhou, Chengdu and eastern China regions. It is now intending to hire a Finance Manager for its Brand Business.
Reporting :
This post will report to Finance Director.
Location of work:
Panyu District, Guangzhou
Job responsibilities:
- responsible for all financial accounts of the brands business in China- including wholesale and retail.
- Establish and monitor the finance & accounting procedures of the retail/wholesale business.
- Responsible for tax filing (Income tax and VAT) and other compliance matters.
- Ensure effective management of cashflow and good banking relationships.
- Control capital projects expenditure and implement cost saving measures.
- Set up KPIs for business performance for shop operations.
- Assist the Finance Director to complete weekly/ monthly management accounts for the business.
- Assist the Finance Director to lead the operations of POS system and Accounting System.
- Assist the Finance Director to prepare the annual budget and forecasts for the business, and supervise its implementations.
- any other business as assigned by its supervisors.
Experience & Qualifications:
- degree holder/ tertiary education in finance & accounting.
- Familiar with China Accounting Standards and Taxation.
- With technical grading of Assistant Accountant/ Accountant
- With more than 8 years' working experience, and minimum 3 years' working experience in retail business
- Able to handle full set of books and local tax filing, and familiar with business registration and compliance.
- Have working knowledge in User-Friendly Accounting Software and POS system, preferably Burgeon retail software.
- working experience in foreign invested enterprise is preferred
- Able to communicate in written English
- Can work independently with minimum supervision
- With good business acumen and integrity
- Be a good team player with strong communication skills
