Job Description:

(1) Conduct market study for his market of expertise
(2) Initiate, follow and realize New Projects for his market of expertise
(3) Require the development of new grades if needed
(4) Support development projects related to above market segments
- Product needs and specifications
- Product positioning and trials
- Qualification, transfer, industrialization
- Provide technical support to sales team for his market of expertise
- Manage and propose promotion activity (co-branding & joint marketing, innovation day at
OEMs, seminars, exhibition)
- Quarterly report of achievement in 1 FAD
(5) Bring development into sales in order to contribute to achieve the above commercial budget
(6) Constructive and proactive proposals for product portfolio of development, in line with market development strategy
(7) Report clearly and regularly operational activities through internal tools (DPT-TS, FAD, AIM process, Top growth projects)
(8) Improve internal communication by attending and/or taking leadership in organizing internal meetings


Qualification and experience required:
1. Strong technical background in polymer science (physical & mechanical properties, processing)
2. Strong technical background in analytical chemistry
3. Fluent in Chinese and english
4. 3 years experience in the field of high performance thermoplastics;
5. 2 years experience in market development, especially in Electronic & Electric application, Monofilament market
6. Experience in dealing with customer/OEMs
7. Strong communication skills, Open-minded, self-motivated, ability to work with WW team, constructive and pro-active, business sense, available for business trip in China
8. Office IT tools
