Main Responsibilities /Accountabilities / Tasks
When managing projects:
?Able to manage different type of projects (process review, new business initiative, regulatory, etc) and several projects in parallel
?Able to identify project stakeholders and to communicate with stakeholders according to need
?Provide regular status updates, escalate issues/ risks to the head of ORG and other key stakeholders
?Manage the project budget, schedule, scope, risk and delivery quality
?Able to understand, interpret and write business requirement
?Able to identify the gaps between the existing function and newly raised user requirement
?Lead Business Users to review and finally sign off the requirements
?Liaise with other relevant stakeholders (IT, ORM, Operations, compliance, Audit, ORM, Finance, etc) on relevant subjects and activities to ensure impact analysis and project scope is complete
?Prepare the project schedule plan and share most up-to-date version to stakeholders
?Organize project steering committee meeting to share project status and ask for advices
?Manage the End-user Training plan and prepare / support preparation of training materials
?Able to identify the impact to the existing procedures and to propose on how to modify
?Lead the Users to prepare SIT/UAT plan, test scripts, test data, and conduct tests, and report results.
?Conduct train-the-trainers course to business users
?Able to write new procedures being part of the project deliverables, get validated and published
When managing new products:
?Being the main contact for business line to prepare new product form and other relevant information before presenting in NPC
?Being the coordinator to prepare each NPC meeting (kick-off, follow up, validation, close)
?Follow up those pre-conditions and post-conditions for each new product until it is all closed in IMPACT system according to the committed time
?After new product is launched, keep following up its NBI achievement for internal reporting purpose
?Acquires in-depth knowledge on the functional areas allocated to him/her (as main contact or as back-up)
Candidate Profile
Academic Background(degree and major)
Master’s degree in finance / economic / Information technology or other relevant subjects
Working Experience /Technical Skills & Know how
At least 6 years project management experience in banks or consulting company on banking sector
Skills & Competencies
?Knowledge of banking processes and processes description methodology
?Good project management skills (actual management experience is a must), PMP is a plus
?Ability to understand the needs of the end users in banking context and to propose solutions
?Good analytical skill and problem solving skills
?Ability to work on multi-tasks in parallel and to know how to prioritize
?Being positive and can work under pressure
?Good communication and interpersonal skills
?Strong team work spirit
Language Skills
Fluent in English and Mandarin, documentation and deliverables to be drafted both in English and Chinese.
Computer Skill
Strong PC skills
