？ Troubleshoot problems with automated plant equipment & utilities

？ Coach maintenance team as well as production towards autonomous maintenance

？ Develop and implement a strategic plan towards plant & productivity improvements

？ Optimize PM procedures and practices

？ Use metrics to guide efforts of the department

？ Guide and support training program for mechanical & electrical trades

？ Increase proactive maintenance

？ Control maintenance budget and costs as well as plant engineering inventory

？ Implementation of existing infrastructure improvement plan

？ Use appropriate reliability tools such as Root Cause Analysis, Reliability Centered Maintenance, and predictive technologies

？ Executing automation, Energy conservation, Cost reduction, Expansion Projects

？ Co coordinating with vendors for AMCs , services ,liaising with Purchase and making techno commercial proposals

？ Authorizing & Document control of Engineering drawings for the unit

？ Ensure maintenance department follows safe working practices complying to GMP
