职位描述

Responsible Sourcing Officer
You will liaise with other business units and suppliers to communicate and resolve non-compliant issues and ensure high risk issues are escalated in a timely manner. You will also liaise with external parties (NGO's, stakeholders, industry partnership, working groups) to drive Corporate Responsibility initiatives.

Job Profile:
· Monitor supplier & sub-contract facilities against the company Responsible Sourcing Code of Practice and file formal audit reports;
· Conduct remediation follow ups with the factory managements, on the non-compliances confirmed through third-party audit reports uploaded to SEDEX or RS team audits;
· Working closely with the sourcing and technical team in the new supplier/factory approval process, especially with respect to SEDEX & EHS requirements;
· Perform EHS risk assessments at all Mothercare facilities and draw-out a detailed risk-mitigation plan with the supplier;
· Conduct focussed Ethical/EHS trainings and SEDEX related orientations at supplier and factory levels, starting with key supplier facilities;
· Work on specific projects and high-priority RS objectives assigned by the Responsible Sourcing Manager, based on the critical emergencies & situational urgencies;
· Prepare detailed visit reports, maintain supplier databases, and conduct data analysis for periodic CSR reporting;
· Support the Compliance Data Administration team in updating and management of related local labor and EHS regulations:
· Establish credibility and a close working relationship with the company suppliers;
· Advising suppliers on legal & code of practice requirements and good industrial practices;
· Attending external meetings if necessary or specifically assigned by the RS Manager;
· Escalate serious/high risk non-compliances to the relevant RS Manager.
· Frequent travelling is required.

Job Requirement:

· 3-5 years proven experience in driving sustainable improvements in working conditions at factory levels.
· Proven interpersonal and communication skills, with demonstrated ability to provide presentations and briefings
· Ability to continually seek information and look for new approaches to processes and practices;
· Inventive; Imaginative; Creates resourceful ways to solve problems or create opportunities;
· Familiarity with Corporate Responsibility, and a good grasp of legal & ETI Code of Practice requirements;
· Familiar with SA8000, WRAP, SMETA, ICTI, ISO 14001, OHSA 18001, and related international standard.
· A degree or diploma in occupational health & safety or environmental health preferable;
· A good understanding of all possible EHS risks in a factory environment;
· Understanding of good practices and emerging trends in production-in terms of newer and safer technology options, better PPEs, and other viable alternatives to the risky inputs and processes being used now
· Good communication in English is essential and the ability to converse in Cantonese and Mandarin would be an advantage.
