Position Overview

The BDM’s primary responsibility is to increase the conversion rate on pending quotes within a specific business unit. The BDM will achieve this by proactive follow up on all quotes over a specific dollar value. The BDM will work closely with marketing and elevate all opportunities.

Responsibilities

1. Responsible to follow-up on quotes to ensure that Future Electronics maximizes bookings and increases its closure rates.
2. Develop a strong working relationship with sales in their assigned branches and markets, and make joint proactive customer calls to follow up on pending quotes and solicit additional business.
3. Provide a first class customer service level to all internal and external customers.
4. Surpass assigned budget goals
5. Proactively follow up on Elite, PCP customers.
6. Be point person on strategic margin enhancement call out programs.
7. Work with local GM’s and AVP’s to close strategic business.
8. Develop in-depth knowledge of the given product group.
9. Additional projects or duties as management may at times require.

Qualifications and Experience

1. Recognized Business Bachelor’s Degree (Masters an Asset).
2. English language; written, spoken, and conversation fluent.
3. Proficient in Microsoft Office Software.
4. Previous inside sales experience is a plus
5. 2-5 years semiconductor industry experience an asset
