职位描述

Position Overview:
The client's Supplier Experience team is seeking a highly motivated Software Engineering to own, enhance, and develop the client's Supplier Tools platform. In this position, you will be the member of an agile team of software developers and testers to create fast, engaging and scalable web applications that allow our suppliers to interact with the client’s Lodging Partner Services.


Responsibilities:
1.Provide technical leadership to talented developers, both local and offshore, in all phases of project.
2.Mentor younger developers to help them grow the skills required for delivering quality code and design.
3.Advancing the team’s design methodology and quality programming practices and evangelize those techniques across teams.
4.Help the team translate functional specifications into high-performance, logical technical designs and code. Provide code reviews to assess overall code quality and flexibility, and the application of good object-orientated programming techniques.
5.Interact with Architects, Program Managers, Test Engineers and Localization to contribute to and review functional specifications and test cases.
6.Assist in analysis and resolution of complex production support issues including interaction with the Operation Team, Program Managers and Test Engineers.
7.Serves as a technical leader within the organization.
8.Able to coordinate program level work between onshore and offshore.
9.Recognized as group expert of a specific feature or component and contributes this expertise to others. Can detect underlying problems and patterns. Looks beyond the obvious.
10.Identifies own goals and determines how to achieve them; works independently.
11.Skillfully navigate tough situations both internally and externally.

Qualifications:
1.BS or MS degree in Computer Science or related field.
2.At least 5+ years relevant industry experience in object-oriented development roles.
3.At least 3 years experience working in Java/C# development with experience in standard IDE tools. Experience developing automated test in standard unit test frameworks.
4.At least 3 years experience working in C++.
5.Technical competency in developing high-performance, scalable web applications, preferably for a transactional B2C website.
6.Familiar with standard design patterns applicable to enterprise software.
7.Awareness of both established and emerging technologies relevant to high-volume websites and web services.
8.Strong analytical skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
9.A deep awareness of change management, the software development lifecycle and a range of development methodologies particularly agile ones.
10.Experience working with remote teams and an understanding of the challenges involved and communications skills to meet those challenges.
11.Strong multitasking capabilities both across projects and technologies.
12.Experience managing offshore teams and fluency in a foreign language would be a plus.
13.Project management experience would be a plus.

Work Experience and Education Guidelines:
1.BA/BS degree in Computer Science or related technical disciplines.
2.Minimum 5 years experience developing software applications.

Core Competencies:
1.C++, C# /.Net coding and software design skills on large scale web servers, multi-tasking, communication, results focused, and self management.
