Responsibilities
? Assist in managing our PRC merchandising team in day-to-day operations and monitor their duties in order to achieve on time delivery and satisfactory quality to customers
? Lead merchandising team to source new vendors with competitive price and good product quality and service
? Responsible for vendor evaluation, selection and relationship building and to develop a comprehensive vendor compliance and management program
? Lead merchandising staff to work with suppliers and factories to overcome product, operation barriers and drive for solutions
? Review resources allocation, manpower planning for PRC merchandising team
? Perform re-engineering work flow and procedure for merchandising team to enhance work efficiency
? Coordinate with other stakeholders to enhance cost-effectiveness of supply chain operations
? Conduct cost review of different lines of household merchandises

Requirements
? Diploma or degree holder in any related discipline
? Minimum 8 years relevant working experience in similar position in sizable multinational companies
? Possess solid management skills and experience in handling multiple categories and brand of homeware items with experience in direct procurement from PRC
? Hands on experience in kitchenware, household ware field is a must
? Prior exposure in Europe and familiar with relevant compliance requirement is preferred
? Excellent in interpersonal skills and communication skills
? Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin)
? Experience in SA8000 and other HSSA audit and vendor performance review with experience in solution formulation and execution will have additional advantages
? Candidates with good product knowledge and development in stainless steel, aluminum, electrical household items and cookware are highly preferred
