Job Responsibilities

TRENDS & FASHION
Understand the market of the materials/products (Price, Market Trend, New Materials etc.)
Interpret trends and visual goals into specific materials and product information
Understand the trends/new fabrics/products with best/suitable suppliers.
Follow closely what competitors are working on.
Educate and build knowledge in the PO team and suppliers about the customer needs, the trend and STUK.
Based on the customer demands be in forefront of developing new material and product capabilities relevant for your production market.
Develop material components and product that needs their quality requirement
Keep update of the market trend for the materials and products.
Develop/Source new quality materials/products with suitable supplier
Optimize and keep every stage in the development process as efficient as possible.
COOPERATION IN PO
The strategy for developments will be linked to the demand.
Strategy of where to develop what will therefore be set together with PM Team.
PO Developer will cooperate closely with all our specialists in order to secure fashion and quality.
COOPERATION WITH H&M SUPPLIERS (INCL.WEP UNITS, FABRIC & DYING MILLS)
Good knowledge of H&M suppliers. (Fashion sense, price, quality, capacity & lead-times)
Educate and evaluate new suppliers (fabric, printers & WEP units) in understanding H&M customer (trends, fashion & STUK).

BACKGROUND
A) Education
Preferably a degree in textile/fashion design/art/Finance
Good command of English
Able to use all Microsoft applications
B) Work experience
Preferably experience working in a production team with strong fashion sense
Textile/garment production experience
Preferably experience from similar position in supplier or representative office
