Objectives
Securing an optimum production planning process and information flow to all departments
Continuous improvement of the operating efficiency and productivity (KPIs)
Ensure security of supply and quality of all production commodities and equipment
Building up a stable, efficient and capable team in cooperation with Head of Manufacturing
Leads the assigned team on the principle of the SFS corporate model and values

Principal duties
Responsible for an optimized production planning and control to ensure on time delivery and minimize work in progress (WIP)
Develop the daily production planning by involving the cross-function departments and appropriate usage of the ERP planning tool
Ensure the orders are released on time, continuously drive the improvement on reduction of inventory turnover period in close collaboration with the Logistic Manager
Coordinate and align with all related function departments any order changes caused by internal or external customers
Develop, qualify and maintain a strong supplier base. Responsible to negotiate competitive terms & conditions. Do audit and re-qualification of suppliers in collaboration with the quality department
Collaborate closely with the responsible production and logistic departments to order all required production materials (raw material, tools, gases, chemicals and external services) in time
Participate on daily shop-floor meetings, drive any opportunity for improvement.
Define and implement MbO goals of the team members

CriteriaQualification requirements
Age28 - 40
Language skillsNative language Chinese
Good English level (reading, spoken and written)
Good verbal skills in Cantonese as an additional advantage
Education Degree in Mechanical, Process Engineering, Production Planning
Additional education in strategic Sourcing
Familiar with ERP system or planning tools (such as SAP or Oracle)
ExperiencesOver 5 years working experience in Manufacturing Industry
Several years of experience in managing a production planning & control team or material procurement team
Familiar with statistical forecasting tool/methodology
Knowledge of raw material market (players and performance benchmark)
Strong skills with proven track record in communication, business analysis, supplier development, administration and change management
Familiar with PPAP, DFM and supplier qualification process
Good communication, interpersonal and presentation skills

Additional assets :
- Worked already at a fastener producer (screws or rivets)
- Knows Kaizen / CIP, Lean Management Principles and 5S
