Reports to:Treasury Unit Manager

Summary
Treasury Manager main responsibilities are to ensure high quality in treasury and credit accounting and reporting, assure compliance with treasury and credit legislation, mitigate treasury and credit risks, and to provide expert treasury and credit advice.
Treasury Manager is functionally responsible for Treasury Specialist activities.

Key Responsibilities and Main Activities
· Be responsible for Treasury and Credit Management within hub
· Review and approve cash-flow forecasts
· Review and approve foreign exchange exposure and take appropriate action
· Review and approve customer credit risks assessments and take appropriate action
· Identify need for and approve funding and cash management transactions
· Ensure high quality in treasury and credit accounting and reporting
· Ensure proper insurance coverage
· Provide treasury and credit advice to management/operational units
· Ensure alignment with global treasury and credit processes and directives
· Manage relationships with banking and financial community to secure the availability of credit facilities and instruments
· Negotiate, approve and issue trade finance instruments in co-operation with Customer and Trade Finance
· Review and approve payment proposals
· Undertake other responsibilities assigned by hub responsible

Qualifications

Position Requirements
· Have knowledge of Treasury industry practices and trends
· Be able to support and drive development of the groups dealings in Cash Management, Corporate Finance, Financial Risk Management & reporting.
· Be able to actively manage foreign exchange and interest rate exposures.
· Be able to proactively provide support and guidance in the pre-sales process regarding applicable payment/credit terms and conditions, contractual bonds and possible credit facility arrangements
· Be familiar with the applicable financial model, policies, directives and the Finance support process in EBP as well as applicable systems such as MUS, CBS, iScala, ECON etc.
· Possess proven accounting knowledge and understand accounting implications of different business setups
· Be able to identify and quantify potential risks and influence decision makers to minimize risk whilst balancing business and financial requirements
· Be able to express oneself in proper English and understands English in business situations
· Be able to convey ideas, information, knowledge and experiences in a clear, concise and open manner
· Be able to understand client needs, cut through complexities to identify critical issues, evaluates financial costs and benefits of alternative solutions
· Initiate ideas for changes and implement actions for improvements

Experience & Education
· Academic degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or equivalent
· Experienced in treasury and credit management
· Knowledgeable in GAAP (i.e. local GAAPs, IFRS, and Group Directives)
· Knowledgeable and understanding of financial systems
· Work experience in handling with banks will be an asset
