As a member of the global IT organization the Regional Network Analyst for Asia responsibilities include the following:
? Interface with global IT management and regional business management to identify and develop tactical plans to meet business needs.
? Align local Information Technology plans with Gerber Scientific global & regional strategy and direction.
? Plan and implement Information Technology Infrastructure to meet business requirements, on time and within budget.
? Monitor Information Technology resources operations, support services, and operate within defined budget.
? Manage vendor relationships for software, hardware, and support services.
? Participate in developing and ensure compliance with global IT standard operating procedures.
? Participate in planning, implementation, and testing of Information Technology disaster recovery management.
? Keep abreast of Information Technology trends, and recommend appropriate business solutions as required
? International travel is required.
Networking
? Assists in the planning and implementation of additions, deletions and major modifications to the supporting regional infrastructure.
? Implements network security at the regional level as established by corporate policy.
? Oversees the administration and maintenance of the company's infrastructure, and directs more junior members when necessary.
? Oversees the administration of the company's WAN.
Telephony
? Manages and develops upgrades to the company's telephone system at the regional level.
? Oversees all telephone changes, including routing for seating assignments.
? Working knowledge of Avaya and Nortel PBX is required
Training
? Carries out administration and maintenance of computer stations and software for company training programs and provides additional support if necessary.
Internal Systems
? Carries out troubleshooting, systems backups, archiving, and disaster recovery and provides expert support when necessary.
? Works with project teams to help implement Internal Systems.
? Any knowledge of SAP is a plus
Help Desk Administration
? Carries out all help desk activities at the regional level.
? Responds to escalated help desk issues.
? Carries out the administration and maintenance of our tracking software.
? Interacts with internal clients on all levels to help resolve IT-related issues and provides answers in a timely manner.
Asset Management
? Builds and maintains vendor relationships and manages the purchase of hardware and software products.
? Manages the purchasing of all software, hardware and other IT supplies at the regional level.
? Ensures that company assets are maintained responsibly.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
? Must have a minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience
? Experience including configuring and managing clients, servers, Exchange 2003, SQL Server, IIS and backup solutions
? Experience in the design, implementation and support of IT infrastructure including: Mobile phones, Teleconference, Voice Over IP and Call Center Operations, Local Area Network, Wide Area Network, Server, Desktop components as well as needs analysis and recommendation in areas of hardware, software and disaster recovery, data archiving.
? Hands on experience with client and server hardware and operating systems
? Working knowledge of LAN, WAN and Meraki Firewall and WIFI equipment
? Working knowledge of Avaya and Nortel PBX
? Knowledge of Firewalls, routers, and switches are highly desirable.
? Previous experience working in an international organization, working knowledge of SAP and exposure to Business Intelligence (BI) systems are desirable.
? Must have excellent troubleshooting skills
? Resolves and/or escalates issues in a timely fashion
? Relays relevant IT-related information to IT management and/or the company in a timely manner
? Able to deliver engaging, informative, well-organized presentations
? Ability to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully
? Assists manager in the planning and preparation of the regional budget
? Remains on the forefront of emerging industry practices
? Must be fluent in Mandarin Chinese and English
Client Management
? Manages day-to-day internal client interaction, setting and managing internal client expectations
? Communicates effectively with internal clients to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions
? Continually seeks opportunities to increase internal client satisfaction and deepen client relationships

EDUCATION & CERTIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in information technology, software engineering, computer science or other relevant field required.
