Job Duties:

1. Work closely with business to analyse business requirements and provide viable technical solutions

2. Design and develop IT solutions according to HSBC standards and best practices

3. Ensure a high quality standard of deliverables

4. Prepare documentation and provide support on compliance and audit checking

5. Development and support for new features and reports

6. Conduct system tests and provide support for user acceptance tests

7. Conduct system upgrade and new releases

8. Work with shift hours to support business and operation team globally

Candidate Specifications:

1. University graduate with degree in computer science, information technology or related discipline

2. At least 3 years’ experience in IT with solid knowledge on application development and support

3. Experience in Finance and Banking industry would be an advantage

4. Solid experience on Crystal Report, Business Objects, or any equivalent Business Intelligence solutions.

5. ORACLE/DB2/MS SQL coding of stored procedures, functions, triggers is a must

6. Understanding of Webi and BO Universe concepts is an advantage

7. Experience on large scale Business Intelligence projects

8. Experience working with the business to gather requirements and translate requirements into reporting solutions

9. Strong problem solving and analytical skills

10. Able to work independently, under pressure and proactively in a fast paced environment with multiple deadlines

11. Strong interpersonal and communication skills in both written and spoken English

12. Team player, with strong emphasis on knowledge sharing

13. Willing to work offshore and travel if required
