JOB DESCRIPTION
Position: Assistant Legal Manager / Legal Manager
Report to: Senior Legal Manager
Location: Guangzhou, China

Key Responsibilities:
? Provide all-around legal services to Guangzhou manufacturing plant with relatively little supervision, including contract review, copy review, legal training and provision of advice on operational matters
? Work with different business parties for projects from legal perspective
? Conduct legal research (on-line, off-line, oral inquires with authorities)
? Draft, review and manage legal document

Requirements:
? Bachelor or above degree in Chinese laws is required, obtained with excellent results, supplementary degree or LLM abroad considered an asset, National Bar certificate will be a plus
? At least three to five years of practice experience supporting the life sciences (consumer, pharmaceutical, medical devices and diagnostics industry) acquired in an international law firm or a Chinese law firm with good reputation and/or legal department of an international corporation in the healthcare industry (pharmaceutical, medical devices, biotech, cosmetics or other consumer products)
? Self-motivated, result-oriented and hard working
? Excellent communication skills both in English and Chinese
? Problem solving skills and attention to detail
? Proficient in translating documentation between English and Chinese
? A team player
? Strong business ethics
? Possess ability to manage facts and critical thinking
? Possess capability for understanding business of clients
