职位描述

Position Summary:

This position will be responsible for detecting, monitoring and acting upon abuse and/or suspicion of abuse of Starwood’s frequent traveler programs, including Starwood Preferred Guest, Starwood Preferred Business, Starwood Preferred Planner and Choice by members and/or employees located in non-NAD residential and workplace regions.


Individual will be responsible for the detection of fraudulent activities and the resulting cases. The position has the responsibility to bring closure to each case. . In addition, the position will also be responsible for recommending to management follow-up procedures to prevent future fraudulent actions and assist in their creation and implementation.


The position is also responsible for supporting ongoing analysis of program promotions and structural changes with regard to the potential exposure to abuse and/or fraud.


Supervision Received:

Minimal supervision from dotted line supervisor.

Other team members located in Austin, Texas, USA and Cork, Ireland.

Able to work independently.


Key Responsibilities:

· Receive and investigate claims of unusual activity presented by supervisors, managers, and properties.

· Analyze reports to determine abnormal activity. Determine criteria for additional reports as need arise.

· Make recommendations to management when to freeze accounts based on suspicious activity and accounts under investigation.

· Communicate with hotel management and corporate departments on a regular basis to warn of activity involving hotel guests and/or employees and provide recommendations provided by SPG management on appropriate action to be taken.

· Support and respond to information requests with hotel management, corporate legal, outside legal offices, law enforcement and airline liaisons concerning frequent traveler accounts.

· Maintain database of accounts under personal review.
