Mission
 Describe the principal mission of the position
 Be the expert on the products of the Product Group
 Anticipate market needs in all regions and identify technical trends and opportunities for the PG.
 Compile and analyze all market data for the Product Group
 Promote innovation within the PG and BG
 Support R&D activities, close collaboration with P2/P3 of the PG
 Support BG Communication for the organization of customer or outside events
 Maintain up to date Business Intelligence on competitors
 Develop and deploy Marketing tools
Responsibilities
 Highlight the main responsibilities
 Contribute to Technological Development Plan process for Product Group and support Business Group TDP
 Identify technology trends, market drivers and highlights in each region.
 Value Drivers
o Understand how the Product Group offering creates value for our OEM customers and end consumers.
o Conduct deep dives for emerging technologies and challenge R&D choices.
 Portfolio Management
o Evaluate PG product portfolio to ensure the presence of attractive offers in existing and targeted segments.
o Evaluate market potential of new technologies with R&D and BI
o Help to develop solution offerings that are difficult for the customer to unbundle.
o Specify new product (and service) characteristics with R&D to develop/improve product portfolio.
o Participate/contribute to P2/P3 innovation committee
 Market Assessment
o Establish all the market data related to the Product Group and contribute to BG consolidation.
o Identify opportunities, design new business models and articulate value proposition for targeted markets.
 Competitive Positioning
o Maintain up to date Business intelligence on each key competitor and newcomer, formulate their strategy.
o Define value propositions that differentiate our offerings from those of our competitors.
 Customer and consumer Functional Needs
o Establish PG functional roadmaps.
o Understand the functional capabilities that our customers require in our products and services.
o Provide segmentation tools that enable identification of the most attractive offer for a given customer.
o Articulate OEMs’ Marketing and end consumers’ requirements early in the product development process
o Define the most profitable business model to address each targeted segment.
o Promote innovation at RFQs stage / Innovation OI ratio > 30%
o Formalize OEMs’ innovation introduction process
 Marketing tools and Methodology
 Comprehensive price positioning for innovations: systematic Innovation Pricing Process
 Implement tools and methodology of the BG
 Develop and deploy new tools for the BG Marketing activities
 Contribute to BG communication
o Support organization of tech days, ride and drives and auto shows.
o Create mock-ups and multimedia for communication to OEMs
